i am going to take a stab at this question and say, every type of dog runs a different rabbit. I could take my lp dogs and run down in kentucky and they may not perform well, you take your dogs up here and run some mountain snow shoe hare and they may not perform well. you are running two different ...

I have found at the end of hunting season, as it nears the rabbits breeding season, the rabbits will make huge circles, i have had dogs run a good half mile and then make their turn, not sure why but they really make the dogs stretch out.

Tuff e Nuff

His sire is New City Screaming Renegade and the dam is Clear fork branch brandy. He does not go back to jiggs in 6 generations, although most of the tuff e nuff breading does. Jay,
If you want a strong black and tan bloodline, talk to John Otruba. He has probably one of the best crosses, granppy and black cher. If you are located around new york its the best way to go.

As with any trial dog or hunting dog, use the 3:1 rule. Run the dog 3 times solo for every 1 time in a pack. This will ensure that the dog can run solo and he doesn't rely on a pack.
