I just tried the worm X plus.. it seemed to do the trick... it takes care of hook, tape, and round.

I have a long haired dachshund that will run a rabbit, but she quits when she gets in the thick stuff. In an open field she is hard to beat...lol

cotton balls soaked in vanilla extract, same as you I tried all last summer to trap one, I read on another forum and tried it, the next morning ol bunny was sitting in my trap....

The ony reason I dont like starting mine before six months is body size and strength to me if a pup has a hard time getting through the brush the learn to go around, and they can pick up some bad habits.

No offense Gun Runner, but I wouldnt shock my dog while his nose was in a rabbit track. I have a pup that started running a couple months ago and he was doing it from time to time in a hard check area, what I was told by a veteran trialer was stay with him and when he is doing it vebally correct him...

Well i'm a firm believer that the more you mess with a dog the better it will be. But as far as actually starting one, I think around six months is a good time to take them to a starting pen or try to start them in the wild yourself. but prior to that there are many things you can do to help your p...

Tim Kahl in Nc has a couple good studs. you cant beat the hunt of a weir creek. and the spped is just what your looking for.
