Not sure if plumcreek is talking from first hand experience in this "review".I will stick with info provided by dusupply since they put the R&D behind their review.

Re: The Wait is Over
this is and has been tested by dusupply for months now, by them, and by beaglers, dusupply has watched these collars in action on rabbit dogs in person. they do more homework then most companies on the products they test/sell just take a look for yourself... http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-tt15-mini....

Re: Litter costs
around here pups go for 350-500. lots of people wanting pets i guess.
but if your wanting to sell a decent broke rabbit dog, your lucky if you get more then 250. if you can even find some one to buy them

looking for a hare dog (female)
looking for a good well started or young finished female, no preference on color or bloodline, prefer a 15" dog, looking for a good speed, decent line control, with good hunt.
fyi, plan to use dog hauler, so location in not important.
let me know what you have, thanks Brian

Re: Astro/Alpha Long Range Antenna
they test them line of site to get the numbers they claim they get. i loose signal all the time around 700-800 yards, get up high and pick them back up or switch to a roof mount. i trust mine enough that this last year i sold all my telemetry collars and bear hunted with garmin solo. i lost signal a...

Re: Astro/Alpha Long Range Antenna
yeah there might be something wrong with your set up, i run in the thickest woods on the coast and get over 1/2 mile normally. loose dogs around 1.5 miles with most collars/alpha set up. i can get 4 miles with roof mount.

Re: Astro/Alpha Long Range Antenna
they work alright, i broke mine a few years ago and went with the long rubber ducky antenna and a roof mount. the roof mount works far better, and i don't notice much difference with the new hand held antenna. dusuppy has all the info on which antenna works best. they did some real r&d on antena pro...

Re: All You PURINA FEEDERS!!!
lots of big game hound hunting is being lost every year, only a matter of time before the little dogs get attacked by the antis. i hunted bear in cali every year until they lost last year. hope nothing comes up about rabbit hunting that we have to defend out here on the west coast. i will not suppor...

Re: Soloing Revisited
i never gun hunt one dog, so i never solo on purpose, i run 8-10 hours every 2 days in rabbit/hare country. i care how my pack runs together and puts pressure on game. i get enough solo running when i get a split race and see how one or two of my dogs have run with out being in the pack.maybe its mo...
