Down here we call it winding. Alot of fast dawgs run this way. I have more deer dawgs than rabbit hounds so it's a common sight especialy with the really fast walker hounds. This may or may not be the right answer but here goes anyway. All my houses have plywood floors. I noticed a long time ago that if I didn't have hay or cedar chips on the floor the hair would rub off of them.

He is in a milk crate right now with an electric heater blowing on it. Whenever I feed him I take the 20 oz. coke bottle out & refill...

I build seperate house that rest on cinder blocks. The flooring for mine is 3/4" plywood. I keep fresh hay inside year round.
