To get back on the topic of measuring hounds at trials I think the solution is an easy one.Measure all hounds before the trial begins,if your over 15" your out.If attendence go down,so be it.The rules don't need changing they need enforcing.

I use goat castration bands they are smaller then the others.The last dog i did the tail fell off in 9 days.You can stretch the band over a piece of 1" pipe put the pipe over the tail and slide the band off where you want it to fall off.

I am thinking about giving the new formula Joy a try also.I believe the formula changed from corn being the number one ingredient to a meat meal being number one.I hope it works out as it's still reasonably priced.
