Here is a couple short clips of my patch hounds. Mostly sugar ridge kennel on top going back to Pennyroyal Patch Casey (stupe) and the bottom superior patch which most goes back to superior allpatch Daego or superior patch cane.

I run 4 by myself, when my hunting partner comes we run 8. The most we ever ran at once was 22 with 5 people all on bare ground.

I think also supply and demand factor in too. Do people want the cross? Is it the "hot" line at the time everybody's trying to get.

At 8-10 your probably not walking anymore. I have one that on a good scenting day will be around 5-7 mph on the gps. I can't walk that fast anymore

For me I watch my alpha when I hear one jump. If he runs a straight line for .5 mile it's probably not a cottontail.

I use a couple cap fulls of apple cider vinegar every other fill up in a gallon bucket for my dogs. Supposed to help there stomachs. Website talks about it.
