People continue to sell culls because a large majority would rather pay $100 for a running dog and take their chance than spend $200 on a pup or $500 on a well started dog. Thank you , all advice has been helpfull. I ended up using a platform for a base , and screwed it from the inside to 2 runners on either side.

Nice I really like this. Will do it on my next one. I mounted mine to a platform I built and and screwed it on each side from the inside of the hopper.

If the book is not finished and has a page are 2 left , how about a page for addresses you get at a trila. It could also be for autograpghs and a line or 2 for advice from a more experienced beagler to someone like me who needs the advice. Just a thought.
