Re: bryan mills and lazym blue
This was my first PKC World Hunt and I met Bryan and his dad Rick for the first time and you cant find two better guys. Blue beat my rocket dog 412.5 to 500 and I'm here to tell you Blue is a very nice young hound. Hunts hard likes the front and can handle it. I look for Blue to have a lot of succes...

Re: F.C> Champions That Stand Around
This is why you should find a format that fits you and your dogs and the formats you don't like, leave them alone. But also don't let one bad experience run you off or you won't have nowhere to compete your hounds. As far as standing around I think every organization has a few that stand around.

Re: F.C> Champions That Stand Around
Does AKC Midwest have a written set of rules or a rule book that a guy could get his hands on. I might run more AKC hunts if I knew the rules. I under stand they have judging seminars but I don't want to judge, I just want to see the rules.

Re: F.C> Champions That Stand Around
This is why I like little pack, a good handler or houndsman will know where his dog stands at the end of a rabbit race. I know if my dog got a jump strike and I hear him grab the checks. The rules are pretty black and white. Little pack is not purfect but a good handler pretty much knows the score b...

Re: Person theatening to shoot my dogs?
In Ohio the law says of your dog is chasing or approaching in a menacing fashion or apparent attitude of attack, that attempts to bit or otherwise endanger. Or that kills livestock , poultry , other domestic animals, or other animal, that is the property of another person, except a cat or another do...

Re: Pride dog food
I feed the orange bag. The black bag is garbage in my opinion. To much waste in my kennels. They were a mess. And yes I fed more then one bag. I even tried it more then once. Now I feed the orange bag year round. The dogs look good and kennels are cleaner.

Re: Cant shake the tapes??!!
Fish tapes also. 34mg for each 10lb of dog. Found mine on e bay. $30 for 30 pills, that's pretty cheap. If you buy the fish tapes forte they are 170mg , so they would be for a larger dog around 50lbs.

Re: breeding to a gun shy gyp
I say find one that is bred really nice and runs really nice. Don't breed to her just because she is bred up good. There is a lot of dogs bred up good. Find one that runs good also. She would have to be a awful good runner before I would gamble on breeding her.

Re: Italian style rabbit
I soak it in salt water for a day or two in the refrigerator then just stick it in the crock pot with a little salt and pepper. Put it on low go to work, come home roll it flower, brown it in a skillet. This works best for us and I'm telling you it will always be tender. Plus good and crispy on the ...

Re: Italian style rabbit
That does look good i'll be trying that one myself. We use the crock pot on low, go to work or hunting. When you get home it's ready to roll in flower and brown in the skillet, or roll it in what ever you want and fry it. Works great for us. This way will make a big old fox squirrel tender.
