Running lately
Anyone else having some good runs? These past 2 weeks it seems as tho the dogs are Jumping the right rabbits that wanna run far..today both rabbits took the dogs outta hearing range for quite some time before turning around. Would this be typical of running in the spring? I hunted this spot earlier ...

Likemfast: haven't seen or ran on coal dirt fields. Would they be similar to a paved road? I could see that being pretty tough. Deerhost: Andre your right those gravel tracks can be tough. But from the videos ive seen of your dogs they have no problems with them..you have some good dogs When trackin...

Deerhost: I have tried something similar to what you said..I showed the pup a trapped rabbit and he opened up but when I let the rabbit out that fast little bugger got threw my fence before me or the pup knew what happened, gonna trap another one and let him out in the field next time so he can atle...

Newt: was the 4 month old pup exposed to rabbits before you took her? I took a 5 month old pup out to tag along while I ran 1 older dog, pup was all in and threw the bush and thick stuff, wouldn't say he was hunting, just exploring and running around the thickets like a puppy..he was right With the ...
