Re: 22's or Shotguns
JMO but i just don't like someone hunting around me or my hounds with a .22, i can't really explain why, it just gives me a bad feeling. Now i'm not saying i have a problem with .22's in general, i like to use one myself when hunting alone, i just don't like to carry one around other people or someo...

Re: Hunting places going fast
I've never met Joeyman, but i've followed his posts from the board on Rabbit Hunting Online. He does seem to be a responsible hunter and is very passionate about the sport. I don't normally post over her because it seems like somebody always has some kind of rude a** comment to make........looks lik...

Re: Did I hurt my puppy?
Swampbuck, i've had several pups that were a lot smaller than their littermates....i agree let 'em eat all they want, but i wouldn't worry about it, i think they all grow at different rates. I had one that i thought would never get bigger, but at about 10 mos. old he finally caught up!

Re: they say that they have killed a big foot
Don't be too quick to scoff.....it's not like we're talking about aliens or ghosts here, we're talking about a possible unknown animal. It's totally possible, there's still a lot of wilderness in America and Canada. I've never seen Bigfoot, but my cousin and i saw some type of big cat once way back ...

Re: How has the economy affected you?
Running more here also- i have some private land and some ditchbanks and fencerows just about anywhere within a few miles of home, so i run the hounds more than usual. The farmers around have been very kind to allow me to hunt or run on their land. Most people around here could care less about rabbi...

Re: Going to registered hounds in the future
Thanks, i'm new to the trialing thing, due to work, so i don't really know what i'm asking i guess! :???: So does UKC and ARHA run a "faster" style hound? Or what is the main difference? I suggested the Blackcreek and Black Jack lines since i've heard local guys talk about them. I'd like to know mor...

Going to registered hounds in the future
I've been running grade hounds since i started in beagling, but sometime in the future i'd like to get into some AKC trials. So i want to go to all registered dogs sometime. There are a couple of UBGF clubs nearby, and some UKC and ARHA clubs. I would like to go to a line of hounds that aren't so co...

If you give it orally, try mixing it with gatorade, it cuts down on the bitterness and it isn't so harsh.

Re: IVOMEC - anyone still using 1% cattle solution?
I use it also, started late this past year, and i've never seen my hounds look healthier. I also use it along with safeguard. Ivomec every month, safeguard paste every three months or if i see worms in their stool. My hounds weigh about 20-25 lb. each, but we live in mosquito infested country, so in...

Try living on top of the New Madrid fault- you get used to it!
No, seriously glad it wasn't any worse than it was.
