bob thanks for the reply I'm afraid this was not a responsible trapper that set this trap alot of the ones I see around here while bird hunting are baited with fish

had a big coon hound get in one and it lived but I don't think a beagle would stand a chance

what precuations do you guys take to keep your dogs out of traps? I was just talking to a guy that lost his best dog in a 220 last season .No one was suppose to be trapping on the farm it happened but some sneak had one set on the fence line a bucket set with a rabbit carcas

we have a beagle running around our place that someone dumped off you cant get within 100 yards of her but she will come up in our yard and eat food my son has left out for her .We have tried coaxing her with no luck put out a live trap and she has sprung it once ....any sugestios would be appreciat...
