Re: What to Do? PIC added
I have used this for years for all kinds of skin problems on dogs. Apply 1% Hydrocortisone cream for three or four days in a row. Leave the collar off until healed. This is the same cream we humans use for insect bites, and many skin rashes. You can pick it up at Wal-mart or any drug store. Generic ...

Re: plastic coating for wire

I have thought of lineing the inside floor of my aluminum dog box with it. It came in quart and gallon cans. If you don't have a Tractor Supply Co. Store in your area you ...

Most vets say not to give vacs. with the Lepto protection until pups are 8wks. Fort Dodge makes a vac. they call the PUPPY SHOT which does not contain the Lepto protection. Then they also make a vac. with the Lepto protection which they call THE PUPPY SHOT BOOSTER. So there is a BOOSTER SHOT and all...

Had a huge problem with fleas in my yard and around kennels last summer, but did not have but a few on the dogs. I always use frontline plus on the dogs. Buy the extra large dog package, put 1cc on each beagle. It is not expensive that way. The price quoted in another post was $75 for the Extra Large...

Mine are in the shade but when temps reach 95 to 100 degrees here in the south it can be tough on a dog. Thanks in advance for any info. you can...

I have raised a few from about that age. Put them in a wire pen made of wire mesh 1/2 in. or less. Hardware cloth is what it is called. You need the holes in the wire small enough so the rabbit can't get his nose started through it. If he does he will keep poking it in the hole until it is bloody th...

Fleas & Ticks on rabbits
What do you guys use to keep your rabbits in the training pens from becoming infested with fleas & ticks? It is a big problem here. I've heard of making dusting stations & adding sevin dust. I have also heard of using pyrethrin based powders in dusting stations. Have any of you tried this and what d...

I've been using Frontline Plus. I feel it's safer for dogs and the humans that handle them. Very affordable if you take time to think about it. The Frontline Plus six month supply for a 22lb dog cost me $53.87 delivered to my door. This equals out to $8.97 per dog per month. What happened to afforda...
