Knew a guy that had some of the Northwoods blood and some real good dogs. Just heard he sold all of his dogs though. His kennel is or was First's Waiska River Beagles.
I believe his address is Brevort, Mi. Just West of St. Ignace. Last phone I had for him is 906-292-5577. His name is Larry First.

Michigan wolf hunting license went on sale here in Michigan Saturday 9/28/13. In two hours the 1200 available license were sold. To everyone who purchased a license "Good Job" and I hope everyone has a successful hunt. Shoot straight!!!!

Why doesn't one of these divisions have an all size purebred beagle class and leave this 15" breed standard for the bench dogs? Most everyone seems to agree that size doesn't matter.

Your boxes will probably work. Use lots of straw. We have even covered the boxes with snow if the temps are really cold. Keep them out of the wind.

Two 5 yr. old daughters of Rambo here in Gaylord are running hare 3 or 4 times a week. Also spent almost a month in the U.P. and just got home. They sure are taking after their father!! Happy Birthday Rambo!!!

Sorry for your loss. I just met Mack at the World Hunt last year. I have since acquired a two year old son of his and Lakeside Emmy. You can be proud of the job he is doing on hare here in Northern Mi.
