Re: Minimum Wage
I just don't see that raising the minimum wage has ever really helped. If it did, why do we have to continually increase it? When you think about it... if raising it to $10.10 an hour is good, why not raise it to $20 or even $30 an hour? By this logic, it should make things even better... or would i...

What size is this one? Also can you make them to only hold about 8 lbs of food? If so how much?
I'm about to build some new kennels and this looks like an interesting setup.

Re: GO VOTE!
Steve, that guy had brains AND common sense. You can't argue with liberals using either one, it's like speaking Klingon at a biker ralley. Common sense is like kryptonite to Buck and MObeagle o.5. Hi Mark, I'm not trying to argue with anyone. Just making a point. The facts stand for themselves. "Li...

Re: GO VOTE!
Alexis de Tocqueville wrote "Democracy In America" in the 1830's after touring this country. He is often credited with saying "America is great because America is good, but if she ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great." He never actually said those words, but the conclusions he came to...

Re: GO VOTE!
This is the first I have heard of this issue in KY, but it doesn't sound like they are voting on it being a "God given" right. It sounds like they are voting to make it a right for the citizens of Ky. If we can make entitlements a right, why not hunting? At least people have to go out and work for a...

Re: PKC MO STATE HUNT - October 6, 2012
On my way to meet Mr. and Mrs. Hookset and Freeman Beagles this morning for a short hunt, and then we are going to the new club house to get things ready for tomorrow. The weather should be great for running and we are excited about this event. For more information, go to the website http://coonisla...

Re: what style of dog for PKC
You're welcome. Hope to see you October 6th. Be careful at Lambert's. Every time I eat there I either commit the sin of gluttony or waste. Actually, I do love eating there too. There have been times I almost hurt myself. By the way, if you need directions, they are on the CIBC website. ...

Re: what style of dog for PKC
I see you are west of LBL. Coon Island Beagle Club is not too far from you in Neelyville, MO (northwest section of the bootheel). We have only had a couple of PKC hunts, so we are all new at it. But, we are hosting the MO State PKC Hunt on October 6th. You can look it up at http://coonislandbeaglecl...

Re: Bad Knees ?
My wife had both replaced at the same time and she is doing great. She worked hard before the surgery doing exercises and then she worked relentlessly afterward in spite of the pain. With both replaced, she would say she didn't have a leg to stand on  It took a few months and even then she was ...

Re: Trapping Coyotes
Check state laws for methods and seasons for trapping coyotes. Here is MO snares on land are not allowed. Good luck getting rid of those yotes!
