Kind of hard to watch a dog or a pack that is 800 yards away chasing a hare unless you're looking at a screen. That being said I put off buying my Garmin until they made the tt15 mini's. I wanted to make sure most of the bugs were worked out. Now, if the dogs are out, the Garmin collars are on them.

I also check this site daily and like swampman, I don't do Facebook nor do I have any desire to.

Used to run coyote with a few of my beagles. I would post pics on here from time to time. I still have several hounds wth that blood that is willing to take on a coyote

I have seen Rhett run hre on Drummond and Rowdy's description is not exaggerated.

The rabbit population is just fine in the areas where I run but I just run in these areas and I do not shoot.

I remember the excitement I felt when I shot my first hare. That was many years ago but I still get that feeling when I turn hounds loose on the Island. It's good you got to experience the thrill. It's an addiction that's hard to beat.

I also left the Island on that Thursday. I caught the 10:10 boat. There were 2 other trucks with hound trailers on the boat also. Could that hve been you.? I agree that the Island gets gunned pretty hard thats why we don't shoot we just run. I'm not against shooting hare but shooting every hare one ...

I never saw any beagles with coon pics. I mentioned seeing a guy or possibly two that posted pics of some red and white [ Patch hounds?] on here with coyotes they killed in front of their beagles. I am looking for a battery for my Classic 70 g2 any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't use it for my hounds anymore. It keeps my 2 Mastiff's from eating little kids
