I breed and run, Ole Pearson Creek
My family has line-bred, raise and kept the fast line of the Pearson Creek for over 65 years.
They are very fast, run to catch, hard driving 15" type hounds.

Re: Ground vs. Above ground kennels
In my opinion, Ground kennels have more "Pluses than Minuses." I personally have and use both: Above Plus: In Deep Snow area - non issue, Hounds stay cleaner, Great for puppys. Above Minus: Hounds nails require constant triming, More expensive to build, hounds get less excercise, Requires More maint...

Re: are bawl mouth dogs normaly faster
In my experience, and since I prefer a Bawl'n hound, I breed and bred for voice for years, and have used some sqawl'n voice hounds in the past. I've noticed the notes are held longer, however usually lighter in tone. I'm often asked why I prefer a Bawl note hound, It is basically for the sound carry...

Re: are bawl mouth dogs normaly faster
Hello All, In my opinion, Bawl, Chop or Squawl, mouth has NO barring on speed. Running style is bred into our hounds. That's how the "Brace" hounds became in existance. They enjoy just the tracking, and will blow the hole into the ground and then take a step. (Some with Bawl and Trigger Mouths) They...
