Re: Hot stud dog
I'd find me a real good blue speckled pointy headed hyper acting Australian Shepard , Blue Heeler , Border Colley , Jack Russell with blue glass eyes, long hair, short ears and a squeaky yappy house dog bark. Lots of them are winning most all of the trials these days, just look around they're out th...

Re: Field Trial Ponderings
During a Field Trial everybody should leave their sleigh bells in their vehicle because nobody wants to hear them and it's a major nuisance to other dogs and people.
Please, Just bring your dog, pay your entry fee, and everything will be fine.

Re: Field Trial Ponderings
From what I've witnessed at Field Trials with my own two eyes is that Field Trials are not promoting or rewarding what I would consider desirable traits for a true hunting rabbit dog. Instead I see them ruining dogs natural ability more than harnessing or enhancing it. Examples would be where I've a...

Re: Field Trial Ponderings
Most trial dogs these days are simply that "trial dogs", majority of them are pretty much useless when it comes down to cutting a single dog loose in the wild solo or packed to do all the work without any human assistance. A few can and to those I commend their performance but the majority of them s...

Re: dogs with under bite
Enjoy them, Hunt them, Trial them do whatever you'd normally do with them, just don't breed them or produce any offspring from defective animals.

Re: Need a picture of Wilson's Izzo
Better Beagling Magazine, November 2016 Issue has cover picture of FCLP Wilson's Izzo & NLPC IFC Big Creek Nice Cream with six of their Field Champion offspring from one litter, Page 4 of that magazine issue also has a very good picture of him in it.

Re: Garmin - State Huntview Maps - Mini SD Cards
The Garmin Huntview SD Cards are a fairly new concept and is still a work in progress, OHIO was just added in late 2016 and it is a great mapping tool, much better than just a simple small download of a Bird's Eye area map. I'd suggest if you desire a Huntview map not yet on the available list, pick...

Garmin - State Huntview Maps - Mini SD Cards
I recently put a Garmin Huntview Mini SD Card in my Alpha TT15 combo for the state of OHIO and it's a great addition, it's basicly Birdseye for an entire state plus a whole lot more pertinent useful information. The Garmin Huntview cards come preloaded by state, so put the card in your handheld, sel...

Garmin Alpha TT15 - Range/Distance it'll function?
Pretty sure Ol' Santa Claus is going to put a brand new Garmin Alpha TT15 Combo under my tree this year...... My question is for those that are using this equipment: How far in these steep Appalachian Hills will one of these outfits actually track /train a dog? Can I consistently get up to 3 or 4 mi...

DELETE THANKS!
Many among us have switched over to the Garmin GPS trackers and I'm guessing many still have a few very good condition Tracker Maxima 5000 units just sitting around collecting dust.
If you have one in good condition and want to sell it let me know......
Thanks!
