i don't dress the rabbits until the hunt is over and i'm ready to clean all of them.

there's quite a bit of meat on the rest of the rabbit. the backstraps are my favorite!

i got my beagle when she was 4 months old. when she peed on the floor, i'd rub her nose in it and smack her butt like i meant it. the threw her outside for a few minutes to see if she had to finish. it didn't take long for her to figure out what she needed to do. now when she has to go to the bathro...

i have never found what people call alot of rabbits. but i hunt all conservatoin ground here in mo...that is probably why. if i can go out and jump 4 rabbits in 3 hours, i'm doing pretty good.

Beagle came into second heat 3 months after her first???

My beagle came into her first heat when she was 9 months old. She is now one year old (to the day) and came into heat again! Is this unusual? Will this heat last a short/longer time?

to those of you who say it's just a sport and we don't need the meat:

we hunt becasue it is fun AND WE WANT THE MEAT! it is in my blood to hunt and kill. saying it's just a sport and we don't need the meat makes me think some of you don't care if the anti's did away with hunting... :shock: :shock:

nothing wrong with jump shooting in my book. don't get me wrong, i love the hunt, but i also love to eat what i'm hunting. if i get a jump shot in a safe direction and the rabbit is not straight away (don't want to blow up the back legs), i'll let the lead fly! :chef: edit: shooting doves off power ...
