Everything preys on a rabbit!!!

Some times I get down on my knees, put my hands out in front of me, and tuck my chin to my chest....cuz that's how I roll!!

I was wondering how most dogs react or treat a holed rabbit. Are they supposed to come back to you, change their bark, start looking for another rabbit, etc, etc. My dogs are 2yrs old now...I really can't tell if they holed the rabbit or lost it. Seems like they are starting to come back to me..but ...

Any pedigree info would be greatly appreciated!!!

So, would I be able to enter my two dogs in the derby..just on puppy papers? They are the correct age. Fairly long way to go...about 3 hrs...just to find out I can't run them when I get there!! Ron

The people that don't think a beagle's ears aid them in their ability to trail a scent...seem to think that their ears are the ONLY thing that allows them to follow a scent. Sure, you could tape his ears to his head..he might still trail the scent..just not as well. And also, his ears might not help...

I live in a small town..when I clean the kennel out, I have a drain connected right into the sewage system..just put it in the pipe and wash it down with a hose...not sure that the city would allow this if they knew!! But I aint going to tell them.

I would say it would effect him..you might just not notice it. The beagle...and other scent hounds..are not built and look the way they do just by chance. The long ears, short legs, loud bark, amazing nose,etc....are traits that were bread into the beagle for a reason..all of them combined..includin...
