I have always preferred # 5's when I can find them in both a 20 and 410. I feel the 5's are a good split between the heavier #4's and the number of pellets you get with #6's. Imagine that 5 is between 4 and 6. No really do like 5's best of all.

I have a stoger and love it. Mine is the youth model. It is short, and easy to handle, and shoots great. I shoot 3" # 5's in mine. All I have needed or carried the past two years. New they are like 350.
