Re: Thanks Obama
Insurance update. Should know in a couple of weeks if the Wife and I are accepted on a new plan. In order to keep our same doctors our monthly premium goes from $575 to $1,400. Working people beware, the ACA costs will skyrocket starting Jan 1st 2015 according to all the insurance people we have tal...

Re: Thanks Obama
PMB, you sure make a lot of assumptions about people you don't know. I have paid for my own insurance out of my pocket for 10 years and have been fortunate to never reach the deductible. No company insurance, no government help. So I not only pay 100% of the premium, I pay 100% of all the medical ex...

Re: Thanks Obama
PMB, you miss the point here. The ACA is just a way to tax the middle class and force income redistribution for those that want to work to give money to those that do not want to work. And I did not say the ones that really need help, I said the ones that do not want to work. I see a lot of workers ...

UPDATE:
Now that I have had 2 policies cancelled because of the ACA, my new premium for health insurance is going from $575 per month to $1,285 per month. My out of pocket expenses before insurance covers anything is going from $5,000 to $12,700 per year.
Thanks a lot Obama

Thanks Obama
Just got notice in the mail that my health insurance is cancelled. Reason stated is the ACA. This is the second policy I have had cancelled since the ACA was passed.
Wish congress would get their heads out of the sand and do something about this

PMB,
When someone on here post undisputed facts that you are wrong, you never reply to that post again. Why is that?

PMB,
The facts have proved you wrong many times, you just refuse to see the light. You have yet to post any facts. You only post wrong opinions.

Pine Lakes,
I agree with you. The downsizing is not a positive influence on small business as a whole. Most new small businesses fail. The only growth I see in small businesses are the ones supplying engineering capabilities to industry which is a very small sector of small business.

Re: Actual results of the ACA on small business.
Here is the one sentence from PMB's post that sums up what is going on. (While corporate America has been "downsizing", the rate of small business "start-ups" has grown, and the rate for small business failures has declined.) The downsizing is real. Workers are being asked to work longer hours for l...
