I have three that are kenneled in the house at night. They spend 1/2 thier time outside, and have full winter coats. Beagles are a tough breed, and I have had some chase rabbits into the river come out shake off, and watch ice freeze on thier backs and they didn't even whine. I like the way a beagle...

This can be one of the worst health issues for a beagle. I had one several years ago, about the time he got to running rabbits like a pro, the seizures increased to the point, that he could not lead a normal life. Pass this one by and be happy that you knew ahead of time, otherwise your get disapoin...

One big advantage to a starting pen, Is you get to run your pup in a controlled setting, without the fear of losing them, or them running off game like deer or foxes. They get plenty of steady work and they get the idea Rabbits, rabbits ,and more rabbits, and then you praise the heck out of them!!

I like the Diamond chicken/rice, or Purena Pro Plan, but I tried the Diamond Sporting dog this fall, and my dogs picked up weight, and I had to ease off of it because I wasn't running them that much. So anybody that really runs their dogs, and can't keep weight on them, I would try the Diamond Sport...

Thats a SHOWME Beagle for sure. SHOWME the tracks, and I'll follow them to the rabbit!!!!!!
