I live in maine and have a litter of seven pups with a lot of striker blood in them I have 3 females and 4 males they are 7 weeks old males 100.00 and females 150.00

Had a litter of puppies 21 days ago and would like to buy a book to see when they open thier eyes and start to walk and other stuff just to see how they compare thanks

Beagleman and emery thanks for the advice called a vet and took her down and sure enough it a small stem off a jack fur the vet cleaned it out and said all was fine thanks for the advice. poorshot

Chris thanks for the good news but your right, even if you breed two good "snow dogs" you may one get one or two out of a litter thats what you want. The dogs i see now that are being breed buy SOME people are being breed for speed and smarts and they only run them in trials on bare ground not in sn...

my 11 month old pup ran all day yesterday and when we picked her up, her eye looked funny. Sorry to start this topic again. But i would like to know what line of beagles to look at for hunting on snow. And cold weather, to best describe it think about running your dog in the frezzer, lots of ice and cold here in Maine. and if you know a good blodline who would I get in touch with?? thanks...
