Safeguard works good for me, I also use the paste. I started with beagles about three years ago and I use this because of recomendations from a couple of long timers.

That is odd I've never met the beagle that would leave anything in a bowl.

I have a female beagle in with a 55 pound Siberian Husky. The Beagle eats her food in about two minutes the Husky spreads it over the hole day. The beagle has learned to live with it. She has scars from her learning experiences, but they love eachother now.

I never had the chance to feed Sprt. Pride due to availability. I have fed Diamond and I am very happy with it. I may try Sprt. Pride if it becomes easier to get. I will always keep an open mind to food.
