One of my collars wasn't charging well. I left the collar on until the battery was low enough the collar just shut off....then I charged the collar and repeated it again running the collar to dead and recharging. 2 yrs later I haven't had any issues again with that collar.

Depending on the conditions you hunt in a lot can be said for a shoulder holster. Did you try hooking it up to a different charger? I had a similar issue with one of my TT10's....turned out that one of the connectors on my "Y" adapter cable was broken....it would make connection when I plugged it in but it wasn't getting a good connection so it wasn't actually charging my collar ...

I'd report it to AKC....so much in beagling depends on trust....anybody who is dishonest enough to falsify papers deserves to be outed in my opinion.
