I have a pup that will six months old the first week in February. I would like to put it in a starting pen to get it started. I was wondering if anyone know of a good place within reasonable driving distance of the Northern Kentucky. Thanks for and help you can give!

We have been hunting in N/Ky and our numbers are about half of what they were last year. In addition, it's more difficult to get ground to hunt on every year. I love to run my hounds but it's very difficult to get them on rabbits.

I live in a sub-division and I have three beagles that I hunt with. I was worried about my neighbors complaining about the dogs barking so I put bark collars on all of them. The collars work fine and the dogs hunt as good as they ever did.

I have a litter of ten pups that are two days old today and wasn't confident enough to take the dewclaws off myself. My vet charged me $33.00 for the office visit and $3.00 per pup to remove the dewclaws. I figure it's better to be safe then sorry because of inexperience. I just wish he would have l...

Thanks for the info. I ended up calling my vet and he said that the shot had too many adverse effects.

I think my little female pup who is in heat may have been breed to the wife's mutt this morning when my daughter let them get together. Is there a shot that the vet can give her to abort any pups and if so does it harm the female?

I have a hunting buddy who has a nice female that has Beagle Pain Syndrome. He would like to breed her but doesn't want to take a chance if Beagle Pain Syndrome is an inherited trait. Any info on this would be appreciated!
