Uh Oh
I went to Home Depot recently while not being altogether sure that course of action was a wise one. You see, the previous evening I had prepared and consumed a massive quantity of my patented 'you're definitely going to poop yourself' road-kill chili. Tasty stuff, although hot to the point of being ...

Dieter's Psalm...
Strict is my diet. I must not want. It maketh me to lie down at night hungry. It leadeth me past the confectioners. It trieth my willpower. It leadeth me in the paths of alteration for my figure's sake. Yea, though I walk through the aisles of the pastry department, I will buy no sweet rolls for the...

Re: whats your favoirite gun to hunt with
When hunting with dogs, I prefer a shotgun. I am down to only having my 870 12 ga, but I would love to have that same gun in a 20 and a .410, someday when I get out of school and can afford one....

Re: little story
You know, it is nice to see kind hearted people. I can't imagine ever hearing a story like this in the bird dog world. Beaglers are in a class all by themselves!
I have given away puppies in the past and would do it again if I was in the position with a litter again.

Re: A miracle in the New Year
Great news , everyone likes a happy ending! I bet the dogs will get a little spoiling for a while and the next time they go out, the collars will be double checked.

Re: Brace yourself Midwest.
We got anywhere from 2-4 inches, depending on what got blown away. I have to go back to Michigan on Sunday, I probably won't have a red truck by the time I get back up there for school. It is funny, but school has been canceled today. If they cancelled school every time we got 2-4 inches of snow whe...

Re: New years coyote hunt
Awesome pics! It looks like a great hunt. Also, those are some nice looking dogs you have there. I wish I could have been there with you, I haven't ever been on an actual yote hunt, but I would love to go.

Re: Locked section proposal (please read)
If you alter what you are doing, that is the first step in the ANTI victory. I say to heck with them and let them complain. Hunting is a way of life. Pictures are a way of remembering a good day spent with friends and family. If that includes pictures of dead animals or fish that are caught, who car...

Re: why cant grown men just be honest
When I have sold dogs, I list every fault I can think of. I probably hang onto dogs a lot longer that way, but at least the person knows what I think of the dog before they buy it. As far as I know, nobody has ever complained about a dog that I sold them (or at least they haven't told me about it). ...

Re: pup caught this one (pic)
It is always cool when a dog gets it ultimate reward, catching its own rabbit.
I was just wondering sidebyside... isn't that an over/under in the pic?

Those hinges look like what is used on glass doors for entertainment centers. That is a GREAT idea! I can't imagine that plexiglass curling where a bored dog will get ahold of it and chew...

What is Celibacy?
What is Celibacy? Celibacy can be a choice in life or a condition imposed by circumstances. While attending a Marriage Weekend, Bob and his wife, Ann, listened to the instructor declare, "...it is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other." He then addressed ...
