Re: Run to catch
I have had good luck with an all wormer I get from Fox Hollow dog supply. The more you buy the better the price. Around $2.50 a pill which is good for 22 pounds. Hunt-Em-Up

Re: Nursing Nine Pups
She is likely more then capable of taking care of them. I like to add a milk replacer to the moms food. there are several that are meant for all animals check your local feed farm store to see whats available. I put a couple Table spoons on the food with a little warm water each end of the day. This...

Re: Run to catch
Well a first for me today my beagle/hound cross caught a hare in the wild today, we only have a couple inches of snow. Ran it for a little under an hour. Not sure if it ran into a tree or what. He was coming at me pretty hard shut up for a second and I thought I heard a squeal. I checked the gps and...

Re: Any One still Old School with collars
I grew up hunting back in the 70's and 80's no tracking collars and we spent many days looking for dogs. We ran coyotes and fox and coon. weren't many deer around back then. They would get out of a chunk and out of hearing and the dog hunt was on. Had some out for days. I use the garmin now and coul...

Re: 2 many pups
The best thing to do is let her take care of them. Very hard to keep them alive trying to bottle feed. I would feed a very high quality dog food to her as well as add a 1/2 cup of milk replacer to her food once a day. There is an all animal type available at most any farm feed store in 10 pound bags...
