I was wondering what causes runts in litters? Is it something lacking in utero ? If all the other fetuses get nourishment
from the mother how is it that one might not get enough?

Toadd to what MIke said in ARHA if a dog is picked up 3 times for running off game (anything other than a rabbit) the dog is banned from ARHA hunts for 1 year from the date of the last off game call.
At least this is true for the Progressive Pack division.

I have some pups due any day now and I was wondering if they would need a heat lamp for warmth at night. Here in Ga.
it's been getting down to the mid 60's at night. Is that still too cool for them?
