Band it below where it stays raw but feel for a joint in the tail to keep any bone from sticking out. I've done this to 4 of my hounds and actually one just fell off last week and ran him Sunday without any problems. Tractor Supply carries the bands and you get a big bag full for a few dollars.

Double mated female for sale
Figured I'd try again since the season is getting close... 13" female tri-color with ticking. She's out of FC West's Zippo and FC Dot Com Dottie. Upper medium speed, average hunt jumps her fair share. She's had a bunch of rabbits killed in front of her and only trialed once. She's just a touch to qu...

Re: Somthing new for this rabbit season
Two new male pups, they're 15 months old right now and fall right in line a drive with the rest of them. That's all I got new for this season. I will hunt all season with my TC .410 pistol. Got it new right at the end of last season so I guess it's not technically new for this year.

Re: Money Made or Real FC?
I've always wondered about a FC that got all three wins with the same judge and different places with different judges. I also look for consistant placing, I'm fixing to breed to a male soon that has 2 wins, 12 seconds and 1 third in his 15 trials last year. He should get his win this year, but seei...

Gregory's Honey Bun http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h275/BigStrutter/My%20Dawgs/DSCF1984.jpg Honey is med/upper medium speed. She has only been gun hunted and is probably a little rough for trialing. She can circle her own rabbit and has great kennel manners. She is just over 3 years old and has n...

Building a dog trialer??
Any thoughts or ideas? I have a trailer that went with my 14 foot john boat and will be making a bracket for a dog box to sit at the front. I need ideas for the materials for the kennel part and stuff. Any pics or blue prints would be appreciated. Thanks

What you find hunting in south Ga. when it's 80 degrees!!
For those that may not have read my other post....we were rudely interrupted Friday morning during our rabbit hunting trip to south Ga. Yes it was probably too hot to hunt but the dogs were running good and we kept them watered down. I even walked them into the swamp and dunked them a couple times. ...

My south Georgia rabbit hunt trip
I had an absolute blast!!! Couldn't have asked for better company and friends. We arrived in Dexter Ga. about 8:30 Thursday night and got settled in. It was hot and was supposed to be hot through Friday but we were going to deal with it. Woke up Friday morning to a balmy 72 degrees and loaded my 4 f...

What county were you in? I was raised in Chesterfield Co. but I guess that more eastern central than east.
