Lacie graduated from crate restriction and therapies. She is being slowly weaned off all of her meds and she is doing fabulously!

Recommended crate rest for healing is 8 weeks. the nerves need to reconnect and it takes time. Good luck!!

Have fun with your Patch hound. Just remember they are like Lays potato chips, you cant have just 1. We went from 1 to 3 in less than a year, to 8 in 2 years. I have found lunchmeat and the rolls of dog food in the fridge at the grocery store to be the best. That freshpet is like oscar meyer bologna, but a little softer, so you can smush the pills into the middle of it. I always hold a piece in each hand and give the pill bite first, she is always anxious...
