I'm not saying mishandling is a huge problem, but I have seen handlers go into time out to get their dogs. On rule change I think would be good for that is when the judge says leash the hounds a time out is autmatically in effect and they do only have a certain amount of time to get their hound leas...

Another negative point could be that a non handling dog does not return quickly when the judge calls for the hounds to be be leashed. The bell would give the handler an advantage to finding the dog without having to spend the effort to train the dog to handle better. All the plus marks for allowing ...
