I don't know how the postal service operates, but I am about 5 or 5 and 1/2 hours west of Indy along I-70. Looks like the magazines must go west along I-70 first.

Something that will work sometimes is to load your dog in the box with the other persons's dogs on the way to where you are going to hunt. Gives them time to socialize on the way. Sometimes this will work and sometimes it don't.

Bev, It has been almost 3 weeks since I switched my bitch from 24/20 to the 26/18. Noticed today that she is starting to put some weight back on. It is $3 a bag higher but looks like it is worth it.

I would not recommend buying the plastic feeder. I had a metal one then bought a plastic feeder. I hated the plastic feeder, the door on the metal feeder has magnetic strip that helps keep door from blowing open from the wind and keeps rain out. Plastic feeder doesn't have this and rain was always b...

If you notice most of the sticky posts there has been hardly any interest in them. They are getting pretty irritating on the trading post. Every time you check for new posts, have to go past the ones stuck at the top nobody is interested in to get to the new posts.

Blackdirt- I like your definition the best. I think most people know and understand the shortcomings of their dogs, but it is hard to enjoy hunting or just running your dogs if all you do is stand around and worry about the faults they have. The idea of this sport is to enjoy your hounds. P.S. if th...

I was on a Missouri Conservation Wildlife Area last week and they had just cut several large cedar trees. They were not piled up rather had just been left to lay where they were cut. This area is managed for rabbit and quail mainly. Evidently the conservation department believes that cedar trees mak...

February Magazine

Bev I just finished reading my February TAB and just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the article about Ashley Dodge. Thought that Rick did a nice job with it. Also glad that SPO site angered Bob Huffman so that you will have his articles in your magazine now.

For the people that put out salt, do you try to keep the salt out year round or just spring and summer when they are raising their young?
