I've owned beagles that grew long hair on the face and toes during the summer, but shed it off later. These dogs were not related and were AKC reg. Has this happened to anyone out there? I wonder if this is related to their diet?

I had pups 3 weeks old that had this same symptons. I used Sulfadene, didn't help. Vet said they were too young to dip. An old man from Grand Prairie Texas told me that he had been using 1/10th of a CC on the pups for years. I had nothing to loose and tried it. It works, I even start them on Ivomec ...

Give pup 1/10th cc of Ivomec every 3 days just under skin in the neck, should see results in about a week.
