Same here as well. I keep a mix of both in my kennels and run males one day and females the next. I have found that "MY" males run better on average than my females even when running against littermates.

Bob is still around but no longer in dogs. He bought a littermate to my old male and a daddy rabbit bred dog but his wife came down with a serious health problem and he let them go. His kennel was Cheats Mtn Gay and the male off Demon was Cheats Mtn Gay Bake, I have 1 grandson of Bakes and 3 grandda...

I raised several that are or were in Louisiana. Willis E Adams was the last owner Demon had to my knowledge.

Rock was out of Baker and Gay Annie. Annie was out of Huntmaster and Gay Missie with Missie out of FC Williams Pointline Buddy x Gay Fury.Missie was a full sister to Baker just the litter before Baker. Hope this clears some of it up.

That's true tom, I have people every year inquire about running dogs and when I price them they seem shell shocked ($ 300-400 range ) People want you to give them to them, they don't think about all the upkeep and cost you put into getting the dog to where it is.

If people think there is money in beagle pups then they are in the wrong business. I will never make even a percentage back of what I have spent over the years on breeding and raising pups. It can be expensive unless you do somethings yourself.
