I have never even heard of this stuff, how much do you apply by weight ? is there a set amt? How frequently should it be applied? are there toxic effects to the dog? thanks

I made my doors from 1/8" alum.I used scrape road signs,I put one spring loaded hinge and a regular hinge. I bent one edge ( and rounded those corners) so the dog could open the door. Dog doors
I make doors from 1/8 " aluminum. I use a spring loaded hinge and regular hinge and put louvers from an old dryer or washer in the middle so there is no condensation inside. They work great. You can also purchase aluminum doors from some of the kennel suppliers. good luck

You might try Louis Page ( http://www.louispage.com) look for kennel flooring. They used to sell it. It is the same as lobster trap wire and comes in 12 1/2 ga or 10 1/2 ga. and 25ft rolls. they are located in Littlton ,ma.ph # is 1-800 225-0508. best of luck. That stuff lasts forever....just about.

I had a pup with strangles.I took him to the vet and he put him on antibiotics. He had cysts that had to be kept open so they would drain. He had quite a few in the neck area. The vet had to change antibiotics three times to find something that would take care of it. Good luck

When I had opening like you have, I made a frame out of wood to cover the opening then layed heavy gage vinyl coated wire over it both inside and out and back away from the opening about four inches and secured with stapes.
