Show CH Male @ Stud
Have only used this male once, with a field bred bitch -- we had seven healthy pups, most were sold to pet homes, two (including the one I kept back) have been used as personal gundogs. Bitch pup I kept back is now about 1yr, well started, especially considering she is hardly ever run anymore ...

Hmmmmmm ....
Have been very sick this summer so haven't had the time for the forums but put a deposit down in MAY
The web site was down last time I checked, my e-mail was changed, and honestly, it just slipped my mind until a few weeks ago (when I saw web site down). Interesting.

Re: heart murmer on 5 week puppy ???????
Has this been diagnosed by a Vet? But, yeah, 5wks is not too young to find a murmur - congenital or genetic murmurs will be with the pup from birth. You can actually feel a moderate to severe murmur by placing your hand on the pup's chest. You'll be able to feel an abnormally strong (not rapid) beat...

Re: I need some advise guys......anyone
WOW. They want $400 for an ultrasound around here (NYC/Westchester)!!!!!!! I am definitely living in the wrong place, lol. I'd say she's definitely having fluctuating temps, tho, and you can probably expect pups tonight or tomorrow :D Take her temp at least 2-3x today, and if you start seeing it ave...

Re: I need some advise guys......anyone
A temp of 99 degrees is on the low side, normal will be around 101. Take her temp a few times daily, because 24-48hrs before whelping, it can sometimes fluctuate ... so a good indicator she is actually in whelp. Also, a large litter might whelp a few days before scheduled, a small one of 1-2 pups mi...

New Stacked Pics
Slow around here, so thought I'd post some recent stacked pics of my show/field cross pups. They're about 9 months now, coming along in the field. Not as advanced as they should be for their age, but my fault ... They are both well started tho, the male is a little more honest with his mouth than th...

Re: You have gotta check out this one.
Ok. Many of my pups go to pet homes and we breed/socialize to keep in a good temperament because even many of the plain ol rabbit dogs or dual purpose pups we sell are the family pet at the end of the day. That being said. I got less than half way down the first page and felt an overwhelming desire ...

Re: "Epileptic" dog help
This probably won't go over too well, but if a dog has chronic seizures over the course of several years, it is NOT a hypoglycemic seizure, it's epilepsy. Dogs will come out of an epileptic seizure naturally, so feeding them sugar will just be coincidental. Hypo fits are normally one time deals, a c...

Re: Another dog food question !!!
As far as kibble goes, I have to rank Evolve, Nutro & Healthwise as some of the best I've used. All are moderately priced, around $1 lb. From my own experience, Eukanuba *was* one of the best feeds on the market but around '06 it went downhill. We had several dogs become ill, all were incontinant, t...

Re: dog food
I do have a question for other raw feeders. Do you have any suggestions where to find meat for dog food? I've tried craigslist and they all want to sell me stuff that they take to the meat packing plant. The packing houses I've talked to haven't been very cooperative. I get my meat mainly from the ...
