i live in tennessee and i have used 55gal barrels forever....couple of dogs and so straw is all a man needs of winter and in the summer i just pull the straw out.....jmho...insulating is over kill and a waste of money

lol....the other day i was inside watching tv and my son was out side playing with one of his friends and i got to hearing some dogs running....i thought to myself where is that coming from and i went outside and my son had let three of my dogs out and they was running a rabbit in my starting pen......

just thought i would share this pic of my son and my homers miss molly gyp she is 14 months and she can smoke a rabbit!!!!...

i hardly ever trial a dog until they around 2 years cause of the experience

i charge 375 per kennel...all treated wood....metal top.....the barrel(dog house)..has a door that you can open from the outside...its not real heavy so you can move them around if need
