Re: Eastern Oklahoma

This year is a tough year for rabbits Eastern Oklahoma, at least for everyone I have talked to and have experienced. Wister Wildlife area was excellent in past years but earlier this year flooding made this season difficult to find rabbits. It is underwater again. Worse than it was.

3 Wheeler

For Sale 1983 ATC185S Honda 3 Wheeler. Runs great. Starts easily usually on the first pull. It has good tires and a like new seat. Has a little wear on the back right finder, not bad at all though. Both front and rear brakes work but the hand brake for the rear the cable is locked up. Could probably...

Just wanted to say that you guys done a great job on the hunt. Glad we got it done in one day. You kept everything moving very well. Congratulations to the winners. I have to say the finals in the champs between Aaron Pettit’s Jet dog and Ford’s Hillbilly Mac dog was very nice. They ran very well. A...

Hunt

Joe, Looks like you didn’t let the weather keep you from enjoying a rabbit hunt and it looks like you done well. I am going to have to get over your way sometime and see a few other of your hounds run. It seems like all I ever get to see run is Jethro and he does a fine job. I wouldn’t mind to run a...

I think I would find a new home for it or send it down the road. If he came before that I would have to be compensated for the feed and bordering of the dog. One night would be more than enough time to make arrangements to get the dog. He must not care about getting it back.

Yes nice looking pups. You sure can tell they are out of his bloodline. That is what is so unusual, not only are they well built and a unique color but they are fine rabbit hounds. I do have a grade female that if I ever decide to breed. I would like to have her breed to your line. If you do ever di...

I am having some made today. I will let you know how they turn out. I am having the name and phone number cutout in them. Have you seen some that were stamped? I was wondering if the stamping machines could stamp s/s. What would you give to some?

I was referring to the fixed chain collars not your typical choke chain collars. They have a nameplate attached in the middle and have a small latch at one end. I have seen them on a few hounds at field trails, but don’t know who sells them? That is the problem I am having. I have more than one dog ...

Chain Dog Collars

Does anyone use the chain dog collars with the name plates attached? I saw them in a beagle magazine but can't remember which one and who sold them. Has anyone ever had them hang up while hunting? Thinking about buying some if I can find where to get them?
