Straw is the best in my opinion, wheat straw. I shy away from oat straw because some dog break out and loose there hair useing it . Just my 2 cents

Do you cosider that inbreeding or line breeding ,or just to close to your dogs? just wondering He He

I lost 2 dogs to yotes before i started useing bells ,havent lost any sence.I cant say the bells are why the yots have botherd sence but works for me.We have a lot of real thick hunting and it does help keep track of my dogs with young hunters along . Dan

In my opinionyou need to seperate the doe from the male in seperat pen then when you want to try to breed them you put the female into the males pen. This how we always did you get better breedings that way,the male is domonat in his pen. just my 2 cents Dan

If you are useing oats straw i would say that might be it ,cause most dogs dont do well with oat straw.Dan
