That's the way it should be. Most of the competition hunters are great people to be around and enjoy the sport, win or loose. And, I really think we're fixing to see PKC gain more and more good beaglers in coming months.

Bill Ray Vincent is helping PKC with the beagle program now. He knows beagles and what hunters look for in a rabbit dog. After talking with him at length, I am very encouraged as to the future of PKC beagling.

War Dog is two years old. He is a hard hitting medium strong speed hound with a chop mouth. He has excellent conformation and is an outstanding rabbit dog.

Steven, Your question is a good one and thanks for wishing us the best. The PKC hunts will be hosted by a new club in a different area. Most of the guys in the original club do not like sanctioned competition hunts - AKC, PKC, ARHA, or UKC. And, that's OK. For your information, the PKC beagle progra...

We were with PKC once before, but I think now it will go over in Texas. The "Hound and Hunter" format is really good. Looking forward to your posts on PKC beagling. I would have replied earlier but I have been gone.

Go to the websites of ARHA, PKC, UKC and AKC and click on their rules and read them carefully. These national clubs offer several different types of Beagle Hunts. I like the PKC Hound and Hunter format. Hope this helps.
