several years ago my grandpa had a coonhound that would eat sweet corn and if I'm not mistaken he would pull it off the stock. I guess the dog thought if he ate the corn then the coons couldn't!

I have a 15 month old red and white male, that I may sell this fall. He is out of the same sire and the dam is a littermate to your pups' mother. I would like to get a little more running time on him before I consider selling him. It's been hot and he hasent been ran, so he is rusty. I don't know wh...

I still have the brood female, but I got rid of the male. I'm glad she is working out for you. I took my eight year old son to a youth hunt last weekend and he entered a litter mate to yours, in the hunt. He did fine, (grabbed a few checks from the older dogs). He runs alot around the house. He is s...

Hey, Jonathan could that female be the one you purchased from me here in Spencer, In. as a pup last Spring? If so, how is she doing? I kept a male from that litter and he is great...seems to have been a good cross so far. Early starting and lots of hunt!

Youth fun hunt/ Fishing Aug. 12

Gentlemen, I was curious if someone could give me the details regarding a fun hunt for kids Aug.12 2006? It was at central Indiana beagle club, but I can't find my "July" issue of "The Rabbit Hunter" magazine and my eight year old and I would like to attend. We need directions! Thanks in advance!

Clay County Beagle Club

Does anyone know of a contact name and number that is affiliated with the beagle club in Clay County, Indiana? I would like to get a schedule of their trials for this year. Also can anyone tell me which beagle magazine offers information on current A.K.C popular dogs, helpful articles for hobbiest b...

Great pictures! The batting swing and formation in the picture is great! As a little league coach myself, I can say that not many kids ever grasp the concept of "plant feet, pitchers leg, hands in tunnel, eyes to point of contact and crash the bat!" The back leg form with shoestrings toward the pitc...

I looked again at both parents pedigree to see how linebred these pups were and the only dog that shows up on both parents lineage is three generations back on both sides. I have known closer crosses than that without defects. Both the sire and dam's individual pedigrees are outcrosses. I don't ques...

Front dew claws

Do you beaglers clip the front dew claws off or just the back ones when they appear? What is the advantage other than appearance? Do you recommend clipping both the front and back?
