Anyone know of a running pen or starting pen in middle TN or anywhere close? I have been using Kevin Groce in Albany KY who does a fine job but he's 3 hours from me. I have three pups in need of a good start and don't feel like driving 3 hours - any help on leads is appreciated.
Thanks,

Good broke female for sale
I have a good broke female for sale. She can jump and run her own rabbit with no problem. She hunts close and handles like a dream. She hasn't ran any off game since she was about a year old and was shocked one time and hasn't offered to run any since. She is a great mother - raised 2 litters (first...

Re: 15 inch male with pic
This is a nice young male here guys, I raised him! He was and has been naturally deer proof as was his mother and Grandmother since birth. If you see him come back and dogs are running just go ahead and start shocking - it's not a rabbit. Although he is not akc registered he is line bred Boldstroke ...

Re: Breeding dawgs
I put two hounds together for breeding last weekend. With the pups from this litter I'm hoping to get pups that start running at about 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 months old, so that I may evaluate them some before gun season. Definitely won't rush them, but some may get a .410 shot over them from a distance, and...

AKC male $150
I have an akc registered male born 08/25/2011. Hunts the thickets and briars real well. Not officially measured, but I would say he's 13" 1/2 - 14" tall. Good foot speed. Handles ok - gets a little skittish when hunting with a lot of people. As long as it's me and my son he handles like a dream. Rea...

Re: Beagles worse than. 20 years ago
That's a very interesting question, but 20 years ago my beagles stayed out of the pen more than they stayed in, and ran when they wanted. Would run for hours every day and come lay on the porch when they were tired. Can't allow that now because our road is too busy now and sub division on the other ...
