My puppy is 10 wks. old and I have a similar problem. He is not scared of people, but he is terrified of other dogs, even small ones. Guess I'll have to get another beagle to help cure him.

Talked to the vet this morning and he said the pup should pass it on his own. Just watch to make sure he doesn't become constipated. Hasn't yet. :D Just thought i'd pass this on in case in the unlikely event that someone else ever has this problem occur. helps save a little money anyway.

What to do?

My little 9 week old just swallowed a penny he seems fine but just wondering if he could pass it on his own or do I need to take him to the vet. I have to go in the morning to get his 9 week shots. should I take him with me to get him examined?
