I'm totally shocked. Adam was a very genuine and pleasant person. A true houndsman and woodsman. He will be missed.
Please let us know if there will be any memorial or benefit hunts.
Thanks

Joey;
My buddy said he uses the chemical from Chemtek. I think you have to buy from a distributor though.

It's a good picture, but I bet he would eat a bunnie just as quick as that snake.

Re: What do you use to shine up your dog box?
Don't use any acid based cleaners. They will pit the alum, and result in it being harder and harder to clean and shine. My buddy uses a product on his truck that is made specially for alum bodied trucks. He just sprays it on and hits it with the pressure washer. He has a tri-axel, so it sees all kin...

Re: Need some Advice... General/Breeding
It appears to be benign. I really have liked my vet up until now. He has not pushed me to spay, before now. I really don't understand why he has changed. I guess I have to make some calls and find a new vet. She has not had a false pregnancy. It started as a small lump the size of a pea, I thought i...

Thanks for the input.
Did you see any evidence of it being heriditary?

Need some Advice... General/Breeding
Howdy, I have a very good female, that I have been wanting to breed. She is 4 and a half now, and I have been wanting to breed her for the last couple of cycles, but the timing has been off for me. I noticed a lump on her mamory glad about a month ago. My vet had just gone on vacation, so I made an ...

Re: Coyotes.
Earl; Yotes will kill the fox or run them off. Just like the hounds, they see them as competition for there food source. Don't know about the coons. I know fox and yote will eat skunk, and opossum. I don't think thats top of the menu though. In regards to the rabbits. A fox or yote has an advantage ...

Re: anyone hunt Snowshoe Hare in WV
My buddy lives in Petersburg, and his son runs bear hounds up on the Sods. I know he wasn't allowed to go up there after a certain date for a few years. Seems he got pops truck stuck for a week or so.
I have never been up there, but hear it's a rough place.

Re: what Sabot slug do you do the best with
My vote goes for the lightfield hybrid EXPs. I have a Savage slug gun, fully rifled with scope. I can consistantly get 1 5/8 groups at 100 yards with the EXPs. I have also gotten good results from Winchester BRI slugs. I won't shoot Remingtons with that gun, because I find their primer depths to not...

Re: Run to Catch
It's late, but I have to drop my 2 cents here. I have to agree with Ohlinger, Bluemouse, and Earl. I am not saying a dog that catches rabbits doesn't exist. I will point out that most of the dogs you hear about catching rabbits, are in a set of circumstances that allow for it to happen. When I ran a...

Re: How old is that beagle?
Earl; There's always one aint there. I would say teeth. When they just start to get dull, maybe 2.5 to 3.5. When they are nubs..... OLD! You fill in the blanks. It varies a little depending on what they have been fed and how good they are kept. Hows your tomatoes doing? Ours are suckin hind teet! To...

Re: Is it time for an e-collar?
I know where Tamaqua is. Coal country. lol Do you know where Ontelaunee is? Near New Tripoli. Anyway. Don't be afraid of it. They are the best tool a hunter could get. My dogs are better behaved in the field than they are at home. They get excited when the collars come out, cause they know they are ...
