Re: Branko Comment
Uh, do I know you? Yes, the puppy passed away, this spring. Excuse me, but I DID NOT sell her. Nor did I ever have her FOR SALE. Do you even know who I am? I would really like to know where you came up with the idea that I posted her for sale. Since you accused me of doing this, I would appreciate ...

Re: Branko Comment
So Beagled1, did that pup die? Was that before or after you sold it?? I just don't understand why you would publicly bash the breeder, refuse to send the "sick" pup back in order to get your money back because you were too "attached", and then post the pup on your website for sale during the exact t...

Re: Question?
We have and have had some patch hounds that had plenty of chances but never attempted to run a deer. It's been a few years since we've had a deer chase, I think that young dogs that run with older hounds that have been broke from deer or simply don't run them tend to not run them also, at least that...

Re: pup collar training?
I do not use training collars on pups until they are ready to train in the wild and already know the "here" command quite well. For me, this isn't until at least 6 months and normally I won't put a collar on them until they are already started. It's been my experience that they are pretty easy to ca...

Re: Got treated like DIRT by Tri Tronics !!! Please read !!!
Been loyal customers of TT for over 20 yrs, couldn't tell you how the others stack up. TT has been around the longest and is still by and far the most popular training collar system for hunting dogs. It's also probably the most expensive, but people are willing to pay. There's got to be a reason for...

Re: Growed up
Done Gone, I love the looks of him. He is a real nice mixture of Dozer and Daisy. Is he under 15"?
Your male pup is growing like a weed, they are 5 weeks old now and I'll send you an updated picture of him tomorrow.

Re: Has anyone read The Ultimate Beagle
Up until just a few months ago you could still get it online at High Lonesome Books but now it isn't offered there either. Might have to just check EBay every once in a while.Where can I get "Wilderness Patchwork"?

Re: New Running Grounds
Hey Charles, Looking forward to running into your dogs up on the island again this year LOL-our packs seemed to get along just fine, they were screaming after that hare! :D BeagleTrainer, that is a very kind offer and we would love to come run with you sometime-we probably live just across the state...

Little boys and puppies
I love to see little kids and puppies-doesn't get much cuter! Thought I'd share a few pictures I took today of our 3 week old pups out with my little boys ages 5 and 4. They are the best kennel and farm helpers I could ask for! And the pups are always well socialized when they get through with them!...
