The trial is not going to be ran on my running grounds. We will be running on ground just across the river from my ground and is just as good. Edge River Outfitters owns the property and clubhouse we will be using.

The running ground is a area new that the club has not used before. It is made up of reclaimed strip mines and river bottoms. You can run both cottontails and swamp rabbits on this land. Nine out of the ten dogs I kennel have at least on shot of FTCH Otterbrook Top Dog in them. I have two female directly off FTCH Mikerma's Super Dog. What I like about the Top Dog stuff is their the intelligence, desire, nose and control.

If I remember right there was a Rabbits Unlimited program started in South or North Carolina several years back. I think they even held field trials.
Have not heard any thing about them for some time.

I do rabbit hunt.

I hunt 15 to 20 days a season,maybe a couple more if I get out of state guest.
