Why would you want to hold an AKC hunt or even be affiliated with AKC since they support HSUS and PAWS backed legislation. Just fueling the fire to battle against us hunters and you all are paying for thier efforts.

I use 26/18 year around and have had no problem from the dogs what so ever but mine are also in the woods 20-25 hours a week too

I have hunted with Drew before and he used his Icom I actually liked it from what I seen when we hunted together. Seemed easy to work and was real good at locating the dogs close in or further out. So I can say from seeing it worked with the proper equipment it does work good as a tracker.
