The American Beagler Forum

It is with heavy heart that I post my best friend Chuck Norris aka reddog1 has passed. He was the kindest and most generous man I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. We were just planning our annual Island trip for October last week. Enjoy running hounds with Nathan and John in heaven. Rest in peace bud...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

I reached out to him, this is from his wife Sue: "Daddy Rabbit is having health issues but is still able to be home. We have closed the kennel, just kept All Day (his favorite). He can sit on porch and listen to him run in running pen. I still take him to church most Sundays, he will be 85 years old...

Happy New Year to all!

Merry Christmas to all!

Unseasonably warm this year, we had a week of cold and now its fairly warm again for up here. Thursday is suppose to be single digits but back to low to mid 30's again for the weekend. Spent last week in the U.P. chasing Hare, had near blizzard conditions a day or two, but running was good except fo...

I've used Mary Ann in the past, she does a great job taking care of the hounds and keeping you updated.

I'm still using my Garmin Alpha 100 with TT-15 mini collars that I bought years ago, love em!

Dana,

Hope all is well, did you make it to NH to run this year?

I just returned from my yearly Hare running trip in the U.P. It was a bit warm and bone dry, need some rain.

Has anyone heard how he is doing?

I still check in to see if anyone is posting, sadly, many do not anymore.

Dana was still a regular up until the end of last year, hope he is ok.

When I was there, the cover was pretty thick.
After 4 days straight of running, the hounds face/eyes/ears were heavily scabbed over.

I've been there, approx. 2 hours south of Kansas City.
Running was good and I had a great time.

I was invited by a friend, so don't ask me exact location, I don't do that to people who invite me to their running spots.

Hope all had Merry Christmas and will have a happy, safe and healthy new year!

Randy,

See Dana's last post in this thread.
