He was a blue tick, not exactly a beautiful hound. I remember Dexter telling that he would throw clean mouth hounds, not a lot of barking on track. Dexter should have a male out of him though.

Probably great grand is as close as you can get. I know where his grand dog is but has not been able to breed foe 3-4 years. I know where a great great grandson is but this is as ckose as I know of for sure.

I like my English Pointer out of Guardrail breeding. They hunt harder than English Seter and German Shorthair but I have hunted with good dogs out of each breed.
